Brian is continuing to do well as he is recovering. He is still currently in the ICU, but we're hoping to get him out of here in the next couple of days. We are going to venture outside with him today, so that he can take a break from the hospital atmosphere and help him feel more normal. He's not able to walk yet, but he's trying every day (and succeeding) with more movement and working hard at his recovery.
Rowan is doing well and we are all happy to have her here! She'll be able to see more of Brian once he's out of the ICU.

How wonderful to get outside! Although hospitals are life saving and necessary at times, we know there is no place like home. Visualize it and believe it will happen soon! The prayers and love will make it so! Rowan will speed recovery and we all know that Brian has the strength and will to succeed. Please remember to take good care or yourself, too, Sarah by finding small moments to breath deeply and laugh! I have a feeling Rowan can help with the laughter!

ReplyDeleteSandi and I are very happy to hear that everything is looking good. Tell Brian that we are praying for him. Also, our prayers are going out to all of you during this time of need.
We LOVE you guys and can't wait to hear the next bit of good news, I actually look forward to hearing about the latest accomplishments on a daily basis. I know that you don't have time to report on a daily basis but I still check, just in case.
